Health & Travel Insurance

We believe that your safety and enjoyment are equally important when travelling with TWIN. It is therefore one of our terms and conditions of booking that you have adequate travel insurance in place before you travel with us.

Insurance

TWIN has teamed up with Endsleigh Insurance Services Limited to offer our travellers a range of excellent policies to choose from.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS SINGLE TRIP

You can take out your own insurance or take out the International Students Policy offered by Endsleigh Insurance Services Limited which has been specially designed for overseas students studying in the UK.

The International Student Policy covers:

  • emergency medical expenses
  • personal accident
  • repatriation
  • personal liability
  • overseas legal expenses
  • cancellation or curtailment charges
  • over 80 sports and activities covered as standard

Please read the International Student Policy in order to establish the full terms of the cover, which is available through the link at the bottom of the page.

NB It is advisable to take out your travel insurance at the time of booking your trip as cover will commence for pre-departure cancellation from the policy issue date. This will, therefore, provide cover should you have to cancel your trip for an insured reason such as illness or serious accident preventing you from travelling.

Single Trip Policy has been specifically designed to meet your requirements whilst undertaking TWIN programmes abroad.

Endsleigh Insurance Services Limited offer two different levels of cover “Essential” and “Comprehensive".

"Essential" allow you to travel with the cover needed for holiday emergencies at a modest price, whilst "Comprehensive" cover includes higher benefit levels and a wider range of cover including hospitalisation benefit, baggage delay and delayed departure.

Either policy will provide you with immediate cover should you be prevented from travelling due to an illness or serious accident.

Each policy has over 80 sports and activities covered as standard, with the option to choose additional cover if required.

Please read the Single Trip Policy in order to establish the full terms of the cover, which is available through the link at the bottom of the page.

If you are from the EU, you will need a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) to receive healthcare during your visit to an EEA country or Switzerland at a reduced cost or sometimes free of charge. The EHIC is NOT an alternative to travel insurance. It will not cover any private medical healthcare or the cost of things such as repatriation or lost or stolen property. For these reasons and others, it is important to have both an EHIC and a valid private travel insurance policy.
