Students participating in all WorkUK programmes for 3 weeks or more can apply for the Standard CIE Cambridge International Examinations Work Experience Certificate. This is a worldwide recognised document and is awarded by the same international department of the University of Cambridge which issues the Cambridge First Certificate exams.

Those students commencing a work experience of a longer duration than 6 weeks can choose to apply for the Advanced Cambridge Certificate of Work Experience. The certificate is proof of successful work experience undertaken in the UK. Increasingly overseas employers are recognising its value and the report that is compiled is an excellent addition to a CV, as well as acting as a reference from the host company.

CIE accredits work experience organisers once a year. It checks placement organisation for health & safety, suitability, contents, booking and matching processes, monitoring and support, etc. Only a limited number of agencies in the UK are accredited by CIE. The CIE certificate is a guarantee of quality and WorkUK are proud to have been one of the first organisations to achieve this stamp of excellence.
