Host-family and residential accommodation are provided during the study element of this programme, but are not included in the course fees. During the Work Placement period, students selecting the hospitality and catering option will have accommodation provided, but will be required to pay for this accommodation – students generally pay this monthly and from their wages. Students selecting the Internship option are not provided with accommodation by their employer, and usually book one of our host-families.

Students on the Advanced PEP will be studying towards the NCFE Certificate of Personal Effectiveness – a Level 3 Qualification. Please note that the Advanced PEP is only available at Advanced Level – students booked onto this programme whose level turns out to be below advanced will be placed in the appropriate PEP Option, and this may increase the fees of the course. If you are in any doubt about your level, please take our online English test.

The Advanced PEP offers an extended period of Work Placement or internship of 47 weeks. Students may choose between a work placement in the hospitality and catering industry, where they will earn the national minimum wage, or an unpaid office internship (e.g. marketing, finance or media.) Hospitality and catering placements are situated throughout the UK, and we are unable to guarantee a location, whereas most internships are located in London.
